HalloweenJack wrote:I’ve just been looking online and it appears that the inclusion of Bennett was discussed, but due to safeguarding he was not included. There have been people playing professional football at 15 and the same in tennis also.
How many footballers and tennis players down pint after pint after pint in the dressing room?
I don’t understand your comment? I somehow doubt anybody is going to give a 13 year old alcohol.
If you dont understand then its pointless continuing the discussion.
Well explain how when he won his world youth title, and I believe he has played on senior BDO events ( who I don’t believe have an age restriction)
I would imagine he has his family around him when he is at these events.
If other players down copious amounts of alcohol that’s upto them. He could go into a pub restaurant for a meal with his family and see other people doing that.
I’m not trying to pick an argument, but was intrigued with your comment.
For the record, I fully understand why he hasn’t been allowed to participate in the GSOD as he is only 13
If the organisers of BDO and BDO-affiliated events are happy to have kids running around at darts events whilst adults are consuming copious amounts of alcohol, then thats their lookout and clearly the PDC dont want to go down the same road. Why do you think pubs have to boot out kids before a certain time?

Mase and the boys are coming round to take their dog back, SAFC!

Jesus I will be bamboozled when I open the door and see his shirt
Clearly doesn't need the hammer then.

PDC - 14
BDO - 1
(15-2 if you count Duzza as a BDO player)

Veenstra's leg difference comes in at MINUS TWELVE. That puts him in a special class alright. Might as well have invited back that Harry Potter twit.

De Ruiter went -13 and -14 in the two years he's played. Absolute legend.

Well that's shitting heroic. The latter surely puts him in a class of his own.
Found Barrie Bates doing -13 in consecutive years with a burst foot hanging off. Harry Potter also -13.
Tricia Wright -11.
Stacey Bromberg -12.

Mark Oosterhuis. Played in the GSOD four years ago, though I know that's like a century ago for your memory.

Even MVG is utterly bewildered by the prat he's playing. Hasn't played any darts event since 2016 according to DartsDatabase.
