So you plan to lie underneath him while he does press ups, does this training method have a name?

For starters 20kg is very light.

For your main course, progressive overload just means adding a plate or two extra each time you go to the gym, or doing more reps than last time at the same weight.

And for your afters, woooooof!
I've gone up on the seated chest press from 35-55 kg in a short space of time so I'm obviously doing something right.

Just got back from the gym. Did 5km run in 23.15 on the treadmill. Happy with that.

TheArrow wrote:doG, you have terrible advice, the biggest muscle builders are the compound lifts, and the three best compound lifts are:

Deadlift
Squat
Bench press

All three use a barbell, barbells are miles better for overall muscle growth, especially for beginners, as it brings more muscles into play at any one time, shocking the body and forcing it to release the most anabolics. Dumbells are good too but only after the massive lifts and to prevent lopsided strength, but more for intermediates and advanced lifters.

Stick to your fields of expertise - bones, flee sprays, how to suck off Maoris, current kids favourite sweets etc...
No you wrong Arrow, Arnie once told me dumbells were the best training tool, the action of lifting a dumbell with a single arm uses more muscle groups than lifting a long bar with two arms.
Suggest you do a little research fella, before you fuck someones arms up.....typical fucking ameteur with no technical knowledge or training offering bad advice to novices. You could get sued, be careful.

Because I was also using other equipment, as I've repeatedly said. Also, it means I can track how far I'm running, and time it with no fuss. Also, it was raining.

Yeah Dave you tell these cunts, you can clock up some miles on the treadmill and watch the darts at the same time. killing two birds with one stone.
