Then the final was a similar high standard between Duzza and Noppie. In the quarters De Vos v Fitton, Wolfie v Hughes, Noppert v Waites were all very good games as well.

Finals are usually lower standard even in the PDC. Long fornat and more pressure. Senna was technically right in that a high 80s average was enough to win the final. Not the whole tournament, mind you.
