Glorious news. No one could drive this disaster of a train wreck faster into heaping pile of flames than Des con man Jacklin.
Actually the Coronavirus situation is a blessing in disguise especially now that Asshat Jacklin is back at the helm. With all this down time it gives the WDF a chance to get their shit together and come up with a comprehensive plan to get a system in place and roll it out with details so the players will have something to look forward to when this is all over. Top Players seriously have to be dreading doing the BDO bullshit with Des back. But they will go back if the WDF doesn't give them something of legitimacy to play for.
Both the WDF and PDC need to be nailing the nails in the BDO coffin as quick as possible. PDC needs to take away the GSOD spots and come up with a new criteria. Go to the affiliate tours now and get the plan in place so come summer they can get the ball rolling and get their players playing for those spots for October. The WDF needs to get a WC and World Masters in place and announced so players know what they are playing for and won't bother with the BDO ranking crap. WDF needs to be approaching all those events and enticing them to go with them not the BDO. If the WDF waste this time, players by default will fall back into the BDO and chasing points even if they don't have anything to play for or expect they don't. Why? because it is what they have always done and stupid dogs don't learn new tricks.
I fully expect the WDF to shit the bed and the PDC to continue to invite the BDO players to GSOD so the BDO will hang on a little bit longer on the legitimacy the PDC pisses down on them.
