Embarrassing collapse from cokehead in those last two visits, cunt should have just lost 5-0.

Ahh gutting, what an effort from Aspinall, gutsy performance and couldn't really do much about the first 4 sets.

Players miss darts in every game, not every miss is a choke or collapse ffs

Great effort by Asp.

Shame it didn't go to the last set.
The day the world stood still:

He scored 45 the visit before the missed doubles, he choked when he had a chance to really have a realistic chance of winning.

At 4-0 there was no pressure,he folded in the last set, it is what it is.

Fuck off MVG

MVG looked quite vulnerable under pressure, much better than the last 2 or 3 years mostly, but still a fair way off his best

Well done Mighty Mike! Some (lots of) will cry again but we - who know your abilities - are still proud of you, especially after another huge tournament win like this.

Is the cunt gonna go on a string of domination again? I for one never thought he would get back to near his best

Amazing game Mvg still looked fragile to me yeah he got over the line fair play however I felt had Nathan hit that 65 there was a good chance Mvg might have clammed up!

It’s possible. He has won the 3 biggest events so far this season.
PL
Matchplay
Grand Prix

He is undoubtedly back to being the number 1 player in the world again.

Turned out to be a cracking final...

Fair play to Asp for giving it his best shot, a lot of players would have given up at 4-0

At least Nathan Aspinall has a lot of steel. Just gave himself too much to do and never completed the comeback. MVG was fried in the last few sets but still managed to pull himself together to complete the win.
