In league with Taylor & MVG. Not bad for a man who failed to win either World Championship.

It's not that MvG didn't play well. He should have won one leg, got one dart at a double in a few other legs but so did Whitlock and Whitlock was clinical.

Amusingly the very best performance in a best of 5 ever was from MvG against Whitlock at the quarters 4 years ago. How times change!
