Even scoring he's no different from a Dolan or Pipe or someone.
He even failed to qualify for the slam twice in a row. He's shit. He'll do a Winstanley, play on the tour for 3 years and still only be 28th in the world

Second most. Mardle would win that title, which is ironically something that didn't happen very often in his darts career.

How do you even manage to say his name without falling asleep? He makes Wolfie look charismatic.

or alternatively hes happy with his life, has decent job which hes happy in, wants to spend less weekends on the road and exemption allows this for next season, and continue to play county, which he loves and once again for England.
a lot of people seem to be experts on other peoples lives

Waites must surely have regrets.
Durrant is probably old enough to be happy having darts as a hobby rather than make a career of it

If he can look at the kind of money being made in the pdc and not be envious of it I'd be amazed.
Had the world at his feet after the gsod win, a massive opportunity missed that's not likely to come knocking again

Of course judging people by our own standard is flawed but why not try and set yourself up for life if you have the ability at something, and I don't mean carpentary.

the way many seem to be doing it now is signing contracts with sponsors/managers for 50% of winnings in exchange for entries, transfers and hotels and all that been organised up front. then take the tax mans lump out, you really need to be doing a bunty type impact to make serious money on those sorts of margins

Straight after gsod he had the cheque, sponsors lining up you'd think and hearn onside. Then was the time to strike.
Only he knows if he made the right decision.
Lesser players setting out without that it's going to be a struggle but if you have the ability back it.
