I suspect this entire event could have free tickets and an open turnstile the whole 5 days and I would wager they wouldn’t even double what they end up getting through the door next week.

Bottom line there just isn’t an audience to tap into. The passing trade are already watching PDC darts and the BDO equivalent are actual players and you already have their trade at the big opens where they actually get a chance to play.

Here we go then, the all-important count. Has the 25% off offer to the players and counties got the table ticket sales over 200.

I can inform you that the answer is.....no.

Number in brackets is the change since the start of the week. Sales are table ticket sales on the Guild Hall website (some stands tickets will have been sold, Oche has admitted to buying one, but wont be many as they are miles behind the stage)

Wednesday - 36 (+13)
Thursday - 49 (+21)
Friday - 21 (+1)
Saturday aft - 19 (+1)
Saturday eve - 48 (+1)
Sunday aft - 8 (+1)
Sunday eve - 15 (+1)

TOTAL - 196 (+39)

So it looks like 3 players (?) have booked a full table over the first two days, other than that we have a soletary person on Table 6 who has bought one for all 7 session. Might be the Mad Belgian

As for Skiddle...well it is still offering up exactly the same full tables at the front as it did at the start of the week, so I wouldnt be at all surprised if sales there were a bit fat zero.
