Some glorious sights. Hamilton, Newton, Roy, Winstanley, Kellett, Matt Clark, PIEMAN. Also nice to see The Harbour Master again.
UK Open semifinalist Dave Pallett in there too.

Doubt I'll be watching much of this cockup but Pallett is quite interesting. Hope he makes it

Looks to me they are coming back in droves? BDO doing the PDC a service by taking out the trash. Pallet probably not trash but more like a recycled can. He will be back in the PDC. Hopefully Pallet wins it all, that would make the mushrooms heads explode, or at least ooze some puss.

Somebody will be paying plenty, and this isn't the standard freeview platform. Any streams lads? At least the session times look like they've been designed by normal people for a change.

I won't be tuning my Sky box to this, especially when there's proper darts on

No. It took their slot on Freeview though. You need a HD Freeview box to see the channel even though the channel isn't in HD.

Are boxes still about seeing as all TVs come with Freeview?

My tv is HD but the freeview tuner isn't HD.
They essentially bolted on HD sections to Freeview which older sets and boxes can't receive.
This channel is in the HD section for capacity issues.

"ensuring none of the world-class action will be missed!" - they're putting the PDC World Cup on the arena screens?

More seriously, whatever one may think about the BDO's quality of play: The concurrent PDC event will be featuring a lot more international players than the "World" Trophy does. Which one's more representative of world darts again?

Appears I do have Free Sports, Channel 95 but it doesn't work on the Freeview platform

I can't be arsed checking.

The build-up to these events are always more entertaining than the event itself. I will probably end up watching a few games of it at the very most.
