Last year it was Krcmar, Kenny and Wilson who made it through (Mathers, De Decker and Hudson made it in through the back door), 2 years ago it was Edgar, Kenny, Lewis, Teehan, Zonneveld and Sedlacek, 3 years ago it was Edgar, van de Pas and Burness, 4 years ago it was Burton, Hunt and Aden Kirk (grrrrr). From what I can remember, Krcmar, Sedlacek, Burton and maybe Edgar would have been considered favourites, but most of the rest kind of just turned up and qualified after pretty ordinary years

Just checked on rule 3.7. If someone withdraws from the Worlds after the draw is made... assuming they would use their own rule and not just put Fallon's sister in.

...the replacement player will come from a reserve list from the PDPA World Championship qualifier where final round (and then if required, each earlier round in turn) losers will be ranked in Order of Merit position based on ranking on the day of the PDPA World Championship qualifier).
