He's the main man now. The question is if he can kick on further during 2024, and if the other top players (like Price, MvG, Cross, Anderson, Wright, Aspinall etc.) can respond.

Aspinall is an interesting one, because he and Humphries both had deep World Championship runs together in 2019 and 2020, Aspinall won the 2023 World Matchplay and now Humphries has won multiple majors in a row, become world number 1 and 2024 World Champion.

They all seem washed in comparison right now

I'm a Price fan and will admit that an on-song MVG is good for the game.

But I will not complain if Littler and Humphries are the future of the game for the most part.

Humphries is the world number 1 and world champion now, and he has won several TV majors in a row, and counting.

Too early to dismiss the likes of Price and Smith. Depends a lot on their hunger though, maybe Littler will give them some motivation

There hasn't really been any dominant days force since peak MvG seven or eight years ago. I really like it - it makes it (for me) much more interesting to watch than endless Taylor or MvG masterclasses.
