Lewis is lucky that the 2008 shitshow saves the 2012 worlds from getting any more panned. The quarters onward make horrid reading.

I loved 2008 genuinely one of my favourite ever PDC worlds a much needed fresh breath of air after Taylor dominance.

2012 was awful though. Mostly because of Hamiltons run.

I've always disliked Hamilton, but he played some great darts up until the final. Whitlock was also a very good player back then.

The Wade vs Part QF was also tons of fun.

The final was indeed dire though.
