Something I admire about the BDO is that no matter how bad things have become, they've never resorted to squirting actual wildcards into the world prolol. That's good.

A lot of fans clearly want them to, and TV probably wouldn't say no to seeing say Fordham, Hankey, O'Shea and Jeff Smith.

Adams might be needing one next year...

The World Professional Darts Championships have been staged and promoted by the British Darts Organisation since 1978 and Lakeside Country Club (established in 1972) has been the host venue since 1986, and the main title sponsor since 2004.
