They need to schedule better. How can they expect 4 men's quarter finals, 2 women's semi finals, 2 men's semi finals, a women's final and a men's final to all be done within 5 hours? With two days of Eurosport coverage, they'd have been better off spreading all of tonight's stuff over two days of evening sessions.

Can only imagine they couldn't afford the venue for any longer?

Andrew McNally I think there's a little bit of embarrassment that a nobody in the PDC has went and won the 2nd biggest major in the BDO. Obviously this has got some players fuming despite the player in question doing nothing wrong.

It's a great shame that these players aren't posting messages of congratulations but are instead fuming.

Simon Harris My point is that if you can play at the highest level like Ross Theboss Montgomery or Scott Mitchell for example then why shouldn't you want to play the best tournaments and he s allowed to, the organisers of these tournaments should be responsible not those looking to do there best in what is a tough sport.

Seems to me stupid mushroom fucks confirming that being the big fish in a little pond is the most important thing To them, and must be protected. The true spirit and drive of top competitors in the sport on display in the BDO.

That comment absolutely says it all. No, Scott, they'll probably say "well done on winning that" and otherwise don't give a shit what he ought to be "classed as" now.

I look forward to the Bournemouth Echo article in a few days with him giving the reasons why he should have won the event instead.
