Nice comment from the male 'news reader'. 'If he came over in a dinghy it would probably sink'
He was suckered in by the tasty co host's comment which was much worse. Asylum seekers / Dingy / Dental records! All hail GBN! All hail the PDC! All hail Gary Lineker!

"tasty"
Re: The Greatest Show on Earth - 2024 PDC World Championship
And more then any other Premier League game on Sky in history. Which is why i think its a bit overstated. I think the true figure is around 800,000
Thinkbox will have the true figure on Monday. Was it on Main Event or was it West Ham vs Brighton?
As you posted on Twitter, it probably refers to peak viewership.
Still an exceptional number.
It is a peak. A little more detail via this tweetererer who is a sports reporter from The Times. https://twitter.com/ElganTimes
1.48 million average.
2.32 million peak.
Crackers.
While the average audience for ONLY the Littler-Cross match was 1.79m according to The Times.
The rich promoting the rich there.
Multiply those figures by how many are watching each individual tv screen / dodgy screen. Even the mud huts of Africa have 100's staring at a small portable screen. Millions upon millions around the world are turning in.
All hail Eddie Hearn!

Littler because it makes for the better story.
Although I will not be in the slightest bit upset if Humphries wins. I've softened towards him lately.

Going by the media frenzy of Luke Littler,
If Beau had chosen the PDC circus over the WDF worlds and won a match or 2 would Bobbi now be on the covers of magazines? A throw away question, mainly for thorn.
