all sounds very good until you get to the but about bopara being the only other batsman in the squad.
dont have morgan down as a test player full stop.

Morgan's a funny one mate as I think he could be a test batter but Bopara shouldn't be anywhere a test place in my opinion. There's far better out there

Re: Pakistan v England
Two different games I agree mate but as much as Morgan's struggling at the moment I think he's a decent innings away. Pretty much the same as Bell at the moment even though Bell had a great 2011. KP's the one I'd be more worried about as he appears to be so far out of touch I can't see where his next run's coming from.

neil fairbrother all over again for me.
that said england always do badly on the sub continent and this team has earned a poor tour without being slaughtered.

Fairbrother was an enigma, talented and only did it in the one dayers.
I think they have been slaughtered though. A 10 wicket defeat followed by being bowled out for 70 odd

It's still a good team mate. Wont dominate like the Windies or the Aussies did but will come close

England would have expected a 200 + first innings lead but will now be lucky to get 100

Re: Pakistan v England
With the English batters being so out of touch they're probably dreading the second innings

Darren Gough on Talksport reckons the pitch was good but the batting was woeful as it has been throughout the series.
