I actually clicked on it after all, from half way through and all 3 on the screen said the timing was wrong which resulted in the backlash for Fallon.
A clip was shown of Porter from last month saying a couple of Asian players might have Visa issues (hahaha) and some things are in place should this happen which we can't yet say.

Also as mentioned, a 1st round loser receives £7.5k which goes a long way to determining whether you retain or lose your tour card.
All 3 women are guaranteed £7.5k which is great for them. But yet again this is their reward for losing.
Why not have all 128 tour card holders in the pdc world Championship? Don't know how they'd schedule it, but it would be a fairer way and reward those playing the tour all year.

Not sure about this, while it's frustrating to see one player get favourable treatment, ultimately, the rank and file have plenty of opportunities from the ProTour and PDPA/international qualifiers to get through, if you can't make your way through that, you can't blame Fallon! There is a tournament which is specifically designed to be accessible for all tour card holders, it's called the UK Open.
