I assume that since none of the players want to be on TV they will be telling uncle Barry to fuck off when he offers them a massive payday to play in the televised GSoD.

The BDO players are now a detrement to the Grand Slam. The sooner they are fucked off the better.

only one bdo player in the last couple of years made the last 16 and if i remember rightly he was beaten by a player who had finished bottom of the then premier league.

The most telling stat last year was that zero BDO players finished the tournament with a winning record. Five of their players batted even (2-2) two got whitewashed (0-3), and Farmer Scott didn't make it out of the group again (1-2) Their combined record was 11 wins and 18 losses.

The longer format seemed to fuck them over. Noppert was decent against Gando, and Hughes should have beaten Dobey, but the rest were soundly beaten.

What I find telling about the whole BDO GSOD invitations is how many of them actually try to qualify for the UK Open? They seem willing to take the money when all they have to do is show up. But when they actually have to work to get the chance to compete against the best they can't be bothered. Is that the spirit of a sportsman that plays proper darts?
