Barney acting a tit all match and he's not getting punished for it. Suljovic should have won this a few legs ago.

I'm so fuckin sick of seeing people blow leads against this headshaking cunt while he's grinning like a bastard. Can't wait for his on stage interview after another shitfest.

You've got to hand it to him for the pure audacity of his attitude. I have never seen anyone play in this competition and give so little of a fuck.

The scenes at the end will be too much for some no doubt! Great crowd, poor last match not sure how Barney got a draw!

Bouncing. It must have taken some effort to find the abandoned graveyard in which to host the World Grand Prix over there. Kudos.

Smith and van Barneveld are really beginning to piss me off. Smith with his virtue signalling and Barney with just his mere presence in this event. The way Sky are kissing his arse you'd be forgiven for thinking it was 2007.

"The last time I'll be in Dublin for the Premier League" said Barney. Fuck that, it's your last time in Dublin full stop, there's no fucking chance your getting to the Grand Prix.

I'd be happy if he doesn't qualify for another major this year.

Hearn will probably make up a rule in November like dutch tour card holders over 50 qualifier ;)

Wouldn't suprise me. They've bent over backwards for him so far. Why stop now?

Decent enough night, not the best quality, but at least most of the games went all the way when at times it wasn't looking likely. More akin to week 2 than opening night in that regard. Lennon faded badly towards the end, but still, did better than I expected in getting into that position in the first place to be fair. If, as you'd expect, he's going to be the weakest contender, then we're onto a decent thing, obviously you can't expect too many wins but to push the Premier League players is all you can ask for really

Getting concerned for Suljovic, OK, fair enough Dobey played well and Suljovic snatched a draw in the end, but van Gerwen and van Barneveld were both below par and gave Suljovic plenty of opportunities. It's beginning to look a bit like last year where he had the second highest average and still got relegated. At least for his sake there's only one player getting cut after Rotterdam (still think it'll be Barney once people stop blowing their chances against him), but he's not looking likely at all to reach the semis at this rate

Good morning all. Van Gerwen seems to be yet again in a class of his own. Seemingly concerned for Michael Smith who's at the bottom of the table at the moment.

At least he has already played MvG so on paper now he is to play players whom on paper he should beat, (apart from Cross when he wakes up).

Barney manages to save another point however the surprise package after three matches I have to admit that it's the Welshman whom I haven't expected him to comeback yesterday at 5-2 and who now I'm seeing as a clear favourite for a playoff place.
