Gates at the GSoD it is. Preferable to Long at least. No Alex at GSoD or Worlds is disappointing but if his country still exists there's always next year.

Gates has a choice between the GSOD or World Senior Masters

Not really a choice then is it. Makes the Seniors field for that even less interesting though.
Team Corvid 2025 consists of the following 12 players.

Clayton, Littler, Gilding, De Sousa, Wright, Evans, Campbell, Scutt, Lauby, Rob Owen, Patrick Geeraets and Justin Hood.

Gates is defending his Masters title so I wouldn't be 100% sure.

I think he will do the GSOD, Which means he won't win a senior title this year. But has done better on the CDC tour

Presumably his replacement at the GSoD would be Jim Schlong so I can't really achieve an opinion either way on the matter.

How does the prize money compare between the GSOD early rounds and winning the seniors?

I will get back to you on the senile darts. The GSoD is 5k guaranteed:

Last 16 £12,250
Third In Group £8,000
Fourth In Group £5,000

Group Winner Bonus £3,500

I can't find the seniors prize money. It doesn't even have a wiki that I can see.

I think this is last year's: https://www.sportinglife.com/darts/news ... lor/210265

Winner: £10,000
Runner-Up: £5000
Semi-Finalists: £2500
Quarter-Finalists: £1250
Last 16: £750

It shouldn't be too tough a decision to go to the Slam then, when taking the prize money into account
