Chris Chibnall should be shot for what he did to Dr Who.

Imagine being seen in the audience at such an event
Rogg wrote:A short time ago, it would have been very common to see people applying an asterisk to this world title because of the MVG factor. I've seen nothing. Darts changes very quickly and very slowly at the same time. Like Randall first thing when he suddenly remembers there's a wispa in the fridge. It's fun.
I've seen nothing this year to suggest mvg could have lived with Wright in the semi final Heck gando might have taken him in the quarter
I think we'd need to start with wondering if he'd have beaten Dobey. Then Chizzy/Humph in the next round, both of whom were amazing against him the last time. I think the lack of asterisk talk demonstrates that MVG is a relative nobody now. We've travelled a million miles in five years.
In two years, even. Van Gerwen peaked in 2016 and the first half of 2017, but his 2019 was better than his 2018, and he won the last major before the first lockdown (2020 UK Open).

I love classic Doctor Who (1963-1989, especially the 1970s peak when Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker were the Doctor), but cannot stand 21st century Doctor Who for the most part which is all hype and very little substance.

MvG is still a force, he'll win TV events and might even win another Worlds or two, but I firmly believe he's not gonna be dominant ever again, there are too many players who can consistently challenge him, and even the relative rank and file players aren't scared of him

I get the strong feeling MVG is going to have a torrid 2022.And will have a disaster at both World Matchplay and Worlds,a huge dip in the rankings

We'd possibly get on great in real life... could be an ordeal trying to get anyone else to come to the dinner party mind.
