On the upside, a different qualification cutoff and different seedings between the Masters and Lakeside again.

But they'll have to cancel the British Open pairs events, for shame.

On another note, that means the Masters will now be only a week before the World Cup in Japan. Wonder if that's going to result in an either/or decision for some of the players with more travel-intensive origins.

But then, when have the BDO ever cared about WDF events?

The Winmau Masters - 2nd biggest Major in the BDO -v- Standard PDC Players Championship

The PDC have there lowest ranked comp on a weekend
The BDO have their so called prestigious comp on a mid week.

The PDC will stream multiple matches including the final, semis and selected others,
The is no mention of anything for the masters

Money : The lowest ranked PDC comp offers more money than the Masters.

Can someone explain to me how the Winmau Masters is a major ????

Remember last year it was on some weirdo subscription channel I'd never even heard of. They're bound to find TV of some kind and not necessarily Cuntrunner. Not that it makes any difference to the bigger picture anymore.
