First 3 series are good but then the actors change and the stories become very unrealistic

No. I've never seen the sitcom in question and don't even know what it's about really. An 80s BBC show.

No. I don't think anyone will get this. I'm sitcomdork and I've barely heard of it.
Nigel Havers is in it.

I haven't. I'm not sure I've ever seen him in anything but I think I've noticed this in Network sales. Is it sitcom?

It's more like a drama but has got comic bits in it. He is effectively a conman who goes from widower to widower town to town. Very good it is

Apparently there was a US remake of 'Miranda' called 'Kiss Me Kat'. Any Miranda fans in?
well you never know.

Was it funny?
Because our version certainly wasn't.

'Call Me Kat'. It's currently in Series 3 in the US, but hasn't been shown in Australia I don't think.
Sounds like it might be enjoyable in a 'switch your brain off for 20 minutes' way.
No, I never watched Miranda.

Call Me Kat, thanks. I was confusing it with Kiss Me Kate, d'oh.
I think Miranda is alright in small doses.

Nighty Night is on the iPlayer, I see. If you watch the first series only its a masterpiece. Sadly ruined by them making a second series and it going utterly stupid.

Nice. I saw some of the Keeping Up Appearances one they did. I also remmember watching Christmas specials of various BBC sitcoms on Channel 5 which was weird.
