How Much Do You Spend On Christmas

Post by M H » Wed Dec 21, 2011 6:24 pm

In the past when the kids were kids were kids and including going out etc I probably spent over £2k a year. I've just had a tot up on what I've spent this year and what I'm likely to and it's still £1k.

Fucking crazy

Our lass does all the shopping, so haven't really got a clue but i'd imagine there'd be tears if I knew.

Spend a fortune on the family but me & the good lady have agreed just to get each other a DVD this year due to the wedding next year.

Although on Christmas day if she ignores our deal & presents me with a £200 watch & I give her The Lion King DVD it could be an awkward moment

We're up to 2.5 so far and she has just casually mentioned that we haven't bought each other anything yet. The fact that I spent £350 on a bracelet for her 3 weeks ago seems to have been put into the "nice things Anthony does" box as opposed to being considered her Xmas present. This apparently has come about because I ate a cheese platter that was being saved for Xmas.
buy her a cheese platter then. Problem solved.
