Wasn’t wades finishing that let him down. It was his scoring. Abysmal. How many stray 5’s and 1’s did he it. Had his chances and blew them.
A bit early to say he won’t win another tv title? He has reached the final of the last two.
Wade will rightfully be annoyed as he didn’t do himself justice up there tonight.
He won’t. You have to admit his run to both the European final and this one he didn’t meet the top top players. He was shit tonight and he frustrated the life out of me tonight. Was so poor
To be fair, he beat the current Matchplay champion. The fact he has made the last two finals suggests he can hale he again. What if plays Bullyboy in a final?

Probably for the better. Set to drop out of the Top 16 if he blows it at the Players Champs.

Fair play to De Sousa, far the better player tonight, relentless on the treble 20. If you'd have told me when I was watching him play Michael Barnard at the World's that within 2 years he'd win the Slam, well, I think I would have called the men in white coats.
The only Mervert in town.

Wade did well to get 12 legs, having got 12 he'll be devastated thinking if only I could have played a bit better for longer, a few more 180s would have gone a long way, gutted for Wade but so happy for Jose, what a story in a year of darts stories, not many would have thought this would happen!

Brilliant stuff, he didn't just fall over the line, he went and bloody won it all by himself! Some effort for a first major final!

Good old Jose. Every trophy would be handed to MVG about four days before the final if they listened to you phil mate.

I noticed that, it's because he's foreign, they can't stand the thought of this weird foreigner being better than Smith, but he certainly is, got a shedload more bottle and heart in general, he kept coming back tonight admirably

There were signs this week that he could return to prime Wade. Hovering around the 97-100 avg mark with solid finishing. So to play like that tonight was disappointing. Jose played well, but how many chances did wade have on Jose’s throw and throw some right muck
