She is a PDC qualifier, she represents the PDC so she will get the ranking money. BDO qualifiers do not. Pretty simple imo. My point is if she gets her money on her ranking why did Durrant not last year. It comes back to the argument of should the Slam be a ranking event.

Ashton is not that likely to be top 64 sure, but it's far from impossible. With that ranking money indeed, win a couple games at the Worlds and suddenly it's not out of reach.

At the end of the day that's exactly what the PDC wants. And to be fair what most of us want, too. Much rather have Ashton on the tour than some of the other cloggers. The group stage is great, it's the only thing really differentiating this from all the other identikit TV tournaments. It's the makeup of the qualifiers that's the main thing, last year's BDO contingent was grim, especially when you take away Duzza who'd been a PDC player for 9 months.
