Chizzy v Bullyboy in a Premier event final.

Post by HalloweenJack » Fri Oct 16, 2020 11:09 pm

If this scenario were to happen, what with their record in Premier event finals who would win this, or would we still be playing the sudden death leg now?

+1 for the post count
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

It would never happen.
Whichever of them was in the second semi-final would see it coming and a monumental choke would occur.

Just to follow up why, Chisnall has only faced Phil and MvG in finals, whereas Smith shat himself against Wright and James fucking Wade.

Right now Chisnall would batter him, would say right now Smith is at a level where he's the most unthreatening he's ever been since he's been a top 16 player.

Good Smith is better than Good Chisnall though, imo.

Agreed. He's done that quite a few times while it's hard to find an example for Bullyboy

You reckon Chizzy will still be playing when he's 70?

With the money in the game now I dont see any of this generation still being motivated to play to the age of Taylor, lowe etc.

The same James Wade who is the third most successful player in PDC history.

The same James Wade whos only decent win in a final was against fatpot 10 years ago. All the rest were wins against serial fuckups.

Fact is, Smith belongs with the garbage like Whitlock, Newton, King, and Jenkins before him. Chisnall is marginally better.
