I can't remember which episode it is but (I think) Basil comes through to the dining room from the kitchen and you can clearly see one of the sound guys lying on the floor infront of the door

I think that may be my favourite, not having given too much thought. Oh no! Second favourite. My favourite will be somewhere in Rando's top 4...
Cribbins is spectacularly good in some complicated little bits and pieces. Cleese absolutely loved his performance. It's worth watching the episodes with the Cleese commentaries.

Mr leeman has the nerve to die and cause basil inconvenience
From very large ash trays, Geoffrey parmer not getting his sausages and the linen collection, it's an absolute joy

By the way, you know the girl (Jean, played by April Walker) in this episode? She was first choice to play Sarah-Jane Smith in Doctor Who.
Pertwee didn't approve so they went for Liz Sladen instead. Fun fact.
