Walton would have had him.
Barney was the best player in the world between 2003 and 2007.

In spells against part he was doing 110 double in
160 starts a plenty
Tony David would have had him.

In 2002, Part was the only player to win a set off him all week (and won three, in the final). And within two months and a bit, Part was world champion.
Wasn't like Taylors game went off a cliff post 2003 but he was nowhere near his consistent best 03-07

He still had Part, Barney, Lloyd etc in his pocket up until mid-2006.

Even between mid-2006 and the end of 2007, he was better than Barney overall.

He did, he could find it if needed but his consistency wasn't there. Take the 03 final loss to part and the finals against painter and dudbridge where he was far from his best.
Granted he usually turned up against manley due to the dislike

Senna lately has been kicking bottom and taking names in his posting. Only down side not enough cursing and vitriol. But still I will say you da man.

Don't know if this is true but all the best to Lewis if it is

The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

And Bunting.

https://www.pdc.tv/news/2020/10/06/lewi ... grand-prix
In line with event rules, Lewis will be replaced by Simon Whitlock - the next non-qualified player on the PDC Order of Merit - provided that the Australian provides a negative result when he is tested on arrival at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night.

Whitlock would then play Chris Dobey on Wednesday night, with Tuesday's session now featuring just seven matches.

Bunting, meanwhile, will be replaced by Jeffrey De Zwaan, who will also be required to provide a negative test result when he arrives in Coventry on Tuesday night before then being able to play Jamie Hughes in round one.

The revised schedule of play for the BoyleSports World Grand Prix can be seen below.

BoyleSports World Grand Prix
Revised Schedule of Play
Tuesday October 6 (1800 BST)
7x First Round
Danny Noppert v Ryan Searle
Mensur Suljovic v Dirk van Duijvenbode
Jose De Sousa v Devon Petersen
James Wade v Mervyn King
Rob Cross v Gary Anderson
Michael van Gerwen v Krzysztof Ratajski
Michael Smith v Dimitri Van den Bergh

Wednesday October 7 (1800 BST)
9x First Round
Brendan Dolan v Kim Huybrechts
Jonny Clayton v Ian White
Dave Chisnall v Glen Durrant
Daryl Gurney v Joe Cullen
Peter Wright v Ryan Joyce
Gerwyn Price v Jermaine Wattimena
Nathan Aspinall v Gabriel Clemens
Simon Whitlock v Chris Dobey *
Jamie Hughes v Jeffrey De Zwaan *

* Games subject to Simon Whitlock & Jeffrey De Zwaan receiving negative results to Covid-19 tests. Should either player return a positive test, their scheduled opponent would then receive a Bye into the second round.

Lewis replaced by Whitlock.

Bunting replace by De Zwaan.

...negative tests dependent.

Grim, but on we go I guess.

I assume they have no symptoms, which is the makings of good news. I know nothing obviously.

isn't that a bit harsh? A walkover would be the fairer decision? Effectively fined £6k for testing positive

Replacing seems okay but more fair would be that Jackoff and Bunty get the ranking money they deserve to get.

As the tournament hasn't started yet, this is regular use of PDC rules. It does seem harsh, but that's life I spose.
