Re: 2020 PDC Development Tour + World Youth Championship
Let us not forget the Development Tour final weekend beginning in Friday! Haven't seen it confirmed, but I heard that Kurz won't be there, I think because he wants to do the Euro qualifier, but it would be a shame because he'd be in with a chance of getting a tour card. Niels Zonneveld on the other hand, is apparently doing the reverse, risky tactic as I believe he's in a Worlds spot at the moment via the ProTour, but he's miles away from keeping his tour card, so the Development Tour gives him a better chance of making the Worlds and sorting out his tour card for next year

Kevin doets won development tour 5 - beat Keane Barry 5-4 in the final, both averaged around 93/94.

I know a little about Doets, he made the UK Open this year via his Dev Tour form last year, but I know nothing about Damian Mol, who's currently in a tour card position and just behind Doets for a place in the Worlds

Should be a really competitive Youth Championship, think Safc's best buddy might win it.

He's been pretty rubbish the last couple days at the development tours, not really had one good run. Reckon Keane Barry might win it.SuperSwede wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 4:31 am Should be a really competitive Youth Championship, think Safc's best buddy might win it.

Keane Barry beats Damian Mol in the first semi, Meikle currently up on Berry van Peer in the second, but by my calculations, Meikle has already qualified for the Worlds as only one player is capable of overtaking him now

Pretty much means van Peer has to win the last event to get into the Worlds, but he's in pole position for a tour card now

Barry wins, and he's 99.9% in the Worlds again, his tour card is 99.9% secure, a win would rubber stamp it

Barry wins 5-4, almost certainly goes to the Worlds and definitely gets a tour card, congratulations! A fine result that

I'd love Barry to win it, great that he has already locked a place at the World Champs and a Tour Card.Malanax wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 11:43 amHe's been pretty rubbish the last couple days at the development tours, not really had one good run.
