'Pretty weak' in what world is this?

Five of the last 8 world finals, winning three of them. Just checking that you realise this kind of thing isn't normal.

Remember Smith saying of Duzza at the Matchplay last year after their SF(?) that 'he's not winning one before I do'.

I mean, like, he probly is, mate.
Neither will win a major IMO.
Are you saying that because you don’t like Duzza? I believe Duzza will win more than 1 major/tv title. I also think it would be criminal if Smith didn’t win one with the talent he has.
I didn’t see last nights match but I’m guessing there was a lot of head shaking from Smith.
Sigh.

Well then ignore the idiots who say rubbish things.

For the record, next year's Matchplay will be the fifth anniversary of MVG's previous final there. He has made three finals, won it twice and retained it.
So he's a little ahead of Harrington and very, very slightly short of Taylor's 17 finals and 16 titles.

Taylor in his pomp would have ruined mvg as he ruined barney but I hear (read) alone bizarre things.

The vast majority of fans consider Taylor to be the GOAT.

You should see twitter, lol.

There's no value in assessing anybody in the context of Satan. MVG can be assessed against everybody else where he's rock solid PDC all-time #2.

Maybe two more world titles and another Matchplay or two for Anderson could creak open that door a little.

Fine:

- He's struggled to beat top PDC players over a long format. Even in his Lakeside finals, he only averaged between 93-95 and McGeeney even had match darts against him.

- The PDC has too much depth for him to simply fall over the line. He was unable to get the job done at the Matchplay this year, despite the field being relatively wide open.

- He's been on a charmed run this week under a short format, with 3 of his opponents missing match darts against him, 2 of which blew massive leads as well.

- He's 50. The clock is ticking.

Smith probably won't win one because he hasn't got the composure to handle pressure situations and struggles to close out games.

Mvg isn't better than taylor
Tyson wouldn't have beaten Ali
Flintoff wasn't better than botham
The list is endless

There is a need in the world for everything now to be better than before.

It's stupid to rate RVB over MVG btw.

MVG is already in the top 5 players of all-time. He'll probably end his career in the top 3.

RVB is massively overrated. Taylor was almost always better than him, even before RVB switched to the PDC.

Tyson used to be a bit overrated, but then the backlash kicked in, went a bit too far, and now he's underrated by many.

I have Ali as the greatest HW, then Louis, then Lennox, then Foreman, then Tyson.

In his prime, Tyson was a monster.

The guys on the left will get similarly thrown out in time, no doubt. Hard to imagine how it could happen in darts, but there'll be some superstar some day.

Headshaker's only claim to fame is winning 4 Mickey Mouse trophies at Lakeshite.
