Once again using the most basic calculation, the Last 8 average was 96.25.

Using the same calc, last year it was 96.13.

Last year: 95.54

Told you the couldn't be split at a glance! I've not seen the true round by round averages anywhere. TheRedBit did Round 1 but that's it.

But 20 years back he was averaging more on boards cripplingly more difficult.

Would not call it a disaster for Princess. He was in a final of second most important tournament with his C+, B- game.
An important run for Gando, getting him in touch of the top 8, despite playing poorly for half the tournament. Yesterday was a terrible performance from him for whatever reason though, I'm sure when it sinks in, he'll be devastated

It's still crazy how much better he was 20 years ago than players now.
Many players in this have been far superior versions of themselves at various times, but still woof.

Taylor just got lucky that he never had to deal with Durrant.
