And barring a bit of a disaster we'll be better than last year's final today. Last year's final did have its moments though after Smith turned up late

Was a disaster for Gando no doubt! Great performance from Dimi though, played well all week. THE PENNY HAS DROPPED

FINAL, average of the averages: 95.56
Last year: 95.54
Told you the couldn't be split at a glance! I've not seen the true round by round averages anywhere. TheRedBit did Round 1 but that's it.

Would not call it a disaster for Princess. He was in a final of second most important tournament with his C+, B- game.thegentle wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 11:52 pmWas a disaster for Gando no doubt! Great performance from Dimi though, played well all week. THE PENNY HAS DROPPED

I hate to bring up the t word.
But 20 years back he was averaging more on boards cripplingly more difficult.
Puts it in perspective

Re: 2020 World Matchplay - Averages
An important run for Gando, getting him in touch of the top 8, despite playing poorly for half the tournament. Yesterday was a terrible performance from him for whatever reason though, I'm sure when it sinks in, he'll be devastatedGidra wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 2:47 pmWould not call it a disaster for Princess. It's still crazy how much better he was 20 years ago than players now.

Re: 2020 World Matchplay - Averages
Many players in this have been far superior versions of themselves at various times, but still woof.
Taylor just got lucky that he never had to deal with Durrant.
