Haha, yeah, my foruming has been largely centred around Football Manager these days for obvious reasons! Glad there's been some kind of updates regarding the rest of the season in the football and the darts, hope it can all go ahead as smoothly as possible. Hope you've been well!

Have you seen what people have been saying about Troy Deeney's new born? Fucking disgraceful. Personally don't like the bloke himself. The fucking thug that he is. But people shouldn't say the shit that they've been saying.thegentle wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 10:37 pmHaha, yeah, my foruming has been largely centred around Football Manager these days for obvious reasons! Cheers man! Yeah, it's mental, not as if Deeney individually has much, if any, say on whether the PL starts again, and I think he's back in training now anyway.Jimmi wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 1:10 amHave you seen what people have been saying about Troy Deeney's new born? Hope the Football League can get going safely if possible, they're in enough trouble as it is, let alone if the season is stopped

Re: Discontinued PDC Televised/Broadcast Events
Speaking of Osborne in the other thread. He won the old PDC Championship League of Darts.
It was roughly like the modus muck but completely disgraceful because this one said PDC on the wall. All streamed online which was quite something in 2009. On bookies sites presumably, can't say I remember. I'm sure somebody will.

It was 50 quid a leg
Daily winners went through to finals day where it was 100 quid a leg

Re: Discontinued PDC Televised/Broadcast Events
For 'major' in this post read 'big'. Let's not get downtrodden in that word again.
Wadey won a CLoD and he counted it as a major - when the MC announced him as an x-time major winner he put up his fingers to indicate x+1.
I'm sure the PDC counted it too at some points, the problem always being that Colin Osborne can't credibly be regarded a major winner really.
