Is this preparation for the Indigo or is this one more important to you?
This one's definitely more important to me.

Must say this years Q schools is going to be packed to the rafters. Well known names having to go back like Norris Webster etc, excellent prospects all across the world in Heta Kurz Baggish Asada etc, the women will surely give it a go again and we might see some fun stuff like Ashton did last year. Should be a riot.

Norris may not have to do it if nobody overtakes him between now and Jan 1st, depends if they give tour cards to 65th and 66th, or whether Barney and Cadby's cards go to Q-School. So many good international players (and of course some half-decent domestic players too), I hope that there's so many that there simply isn't enough room for the typical have-a-go-heroes to slip through the cracks depressingly!

Have they officially announced that? I saw that rule was listed on the PDPA website, only for it to be deleted for some reason

Yeah, there was something official posted on the forum a few days ago, but I can't find it..
It stated that if any of the top 64 didn't take up their tour cards the spots would go to QS but I cannot remember where it was posted.

Any ideas anyone?

They've taken that down now, the PDPA and the PDC can be notoriously slow to update their pages

NOTE: The 2020 Rules are still to be confirmed, and will be released shortly.

Is Malicdem planning to go now I wonder? Very good player already, only glaring weakness I suppose is that lack of experience in pressure cooker situations, but Q-School would be the first step to gaining that experience

Dont get why people go when they are at best going to do bang average and at worst make a complete fool of themselves. Only Sherrock Ashton and Suzuki could put up a decent performance.

To play on the CT I presume. Still better than playing piss pot opens. I wouldn't put down anyone who gives it a go, at least some others like Deta or Winstanley would hardly be Keith Carter level.
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Agree mate. The CT does provide opportunities to qualify for Majors and European Tour Events that have better coverage than BDO events. Also far better funded
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life

Dan Dawson posting on twitter that Nico Kurz is undecided whether to try QS this year
It would be a shame if he doesn't give it a go

He's young, so has plenty of time on his side, and besides, he might have something in his personal life to be getting on with like studies. That said, he'd be mad not to at least half-arse Q-School like last year in order to do Euro Tour events, or do more of the Development Tour (I've noticed he's only done a few of those, and those were a few years ago and in Germany)
