The Pentathlon is on Thursday. Never fails to bring a lump to the eye. Will Woflie make it 13?

Playing so many events in one day makes a mockery of it.

At least I've heard of Edna, as opposed to most of the field.

Looks like the Pentathlon went well for the World Professionals. Parletti there. Actual shudder.

Made the dumb mistake of thinking the Pentathlon results would be on either the BDO or the EDO twitter account. The EDO did greet me with the Pentathlon winner - of last year's event. In other words, no tweets in 12 months. Fittingly, their account description there reads "keeping you posted - MOVING FORWARD".
Anyway, McKinstry won according to the EDO website. Probably the least bad outcome. (In a grand tradition, they also managed to misspell two of the participants' names in the results table.)

Speaking of young, Andy Baetens finished in second place. Interesting to see him in there to begin with, considering he has punted on nearly all ranking events this season.
On another note, apparently that one particular game in the Pentathlon is called "Shang Hi" if you trust the EDO...
