What a final. Watched it at the boozer crowd was so engrossed.
Mensur showed why he deserved to be in the final.
At 11-9 I thought it was curtains for Mensur.
And Ando's bounce out, I thought he'd throw his toys out!
All in all Anderson deserved his victory
What a final!

Serious answer, yes.The Ginge Reaper wrote:Have you ever had sex?PT13 wrote:A fabulous match. I saw some shades of the 1998 final when Anderson was 17-14 up and almost blew it (Baxter was 17-14 up against Harrington in 1998, before Harrington won 19-17). Suljovic was on the back foot the moment he went from 9-7 up to 10-14 down and struggling to hit a double in that period.
Serious question.

When sky have shown a highlights package of taylor v barney in the past a classical piece of music has accompanied it. It mainly comprises of drums and string instruments. Does anyone know it's name? I've been trying to find it for ages. Thanks in advance if anyone does.

Did it remind you of the 1997 Matchplay final?PT13 wrote:Serious answer, yes.The Ginge Reaper wrote:Have you ever had sex?PT13 wrote:A fabulous match. I said after he ripped up Barney late on that nobody would get anywhere near Anderson for the rest of the week. Well done.
Cullen, de Zwaan and Suljovic took 48 legs off him?! Bunting and especially Barney had both had leads on him too.
Must be one of the most eventful and memorable routes to this title ever?
Doesn't take much imagination to see how he could have lost every match really, despite a tournament average of 101.

It was the best game since Cross vs MVG at the worlds.
Don't mention that to Clownin though.

I sadly missed Hendo vs Kimi. I can attest that the other two games were classics.Safc wrote:This. The whole week we witnessed some classics Huybrechts-Hendo,Ando-Cullen and the final are all skysports darts gold in the futuresennafan24 wrote:It was the best game since Cross vs MVG at the worlds.

I'm sure that it has left everybody on the edge of our seats... Not only us Gary and Mensur fans but even the public in general....sennafan24 wrote:It was the best game since Cross vs MVG at the worlds.
