what exactly is a bdo tune ?
I dont recall the bdo ever owning any music, writing any music or producing any music.
In fact I suspect the tunes used at bdo scum gatherings are all stolen and no royalties are even paid.

Pauly over on TSOD claiming that the EDO directors saw through Warren Brown's act early on. Funny, I could swear the story last year was that they were quite ready to sign contracts with him and the only thing that scuppered it was that Brown stopped responding to their requests for more info. That's not what "seeing through" means to me.

Pauly the houseboy is full of shit.
He will tell us next TT is an astute business man....the guy who was too fucking thick, to once not even realize a treasurer of his was sticking thousands in a slot machine.
The EDO are almost as incompetent as the bdo.

Yes they did dump Brown but not before they signed an NDA. I believe the EDO warned Aunty Sue about Brown but she took no notice

I was asked why I don't think Lakeside WC will carry on or atleast at The Lakeside itself after January. I've had the feeling for a while tbh, I don't know why but my main reasons are that Potter just does not want the darts at Lakeside anymore. He's said it in my presence and to many others. Not holding Winmau WM and WT there this year too after the success last yr shows the breakdown to me also.

Another reason is I think it's coming to an end is because the deal for TV ends after the next lakeside as it was only a 2 yr contract. If it is that Potter has made it clear to the board he don't want the darts at Lakeside no more then the end of the road will be in January 2018. Bob loves money everyone knows that and for him to turn the darts away speaks volumes. Id hope the WC does carry on elsewhere but the new venue must be properly sought and I mean properly. Hire professional promoters and advertisement - spend some dough. If you're gonna sink atleast sink in style. The players if anyone deserve it tbh.

As weird as it sounds I think it's purely the venue and atmosphere of the lakeside that makes that event what it is not the actual competition. Not now anyway. Take the WC away from lakeside and I'd worry what would happen in honesty.
They're all here!

Nah don't believe that for a second. Unless someone has done something to piss Potter off.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

If people have heard Potter say he doesn't want darts at Lakeside anymore, I'd guess he only meant the WDT and Masters, and that the comment has been taken out of context somewhat.

It is a looming problem for the BDO. Once Potter kicks the bucket, I have no doubt his missus will want the land sold off for big bucks. At best they can hope for one more event at Lakeside post Potter.

I cannot wait for the seething on Fanatics and TSOD once this happens. They'll be crying that she's flushed 30 years of darting heritage down the shitter, racially abusing her and setting up doomed gofund me pages to try and finance legal action against the sale.

Oche and Elliot Cornish standing chained to the piss stained old building in front of a convoy of bulldozers will be be the greatest image in darting history.
