ha ha. he's just joking everyone. don't listen to him, Justin.
by the way, giving it to a guy for losing a dart game? in the semi-finals, no less? that's preposterous.

You dont think losing 10-0 in a semi final deserves criticism, then?

It is rather knobby to get that far and then capitulate in such spectacular fashion, though

Barney should be a contender. His little story he told after he beat an under par Lewis about how he was thinking about giving up the game until some Dutch kids told him how amazing he is was vomit inducingly cheesy. Then he became Wrights bitch in the next game pulling stupid faces and shaking his head in the meantime.

A heavy Bunting defeat tonight would confirm to me he should win it.

doesn't make him a stupid person, though.
or a dick for still trying, even though his darts weren't falling in.

No, it makes him a Knob Of the Week contender. Getting that far and then shitting yourself with an 82 average and being whitewashed, what a Knob!

possibly, however its not the result it the performance

King losing a 9-2 lead in the final of the Unibet Masters was worthy of KotW
Wade absolutely throwing away the GSoD all worthy and they are finals , so bunting is worthy

so is durrant, for choking in yet another final, losing to dennis harbour twice is simply worthy in its self, but when that jobber harbour is winning with an average in the 70s shows how much melted plastic face choked

Bunting could have just played himself out of the award. Durrant and Barney may have to fight it out

Bunting choking a 5-1 lead was bad. I know Wright did well to battle back and everything blah blah blah etc etc, but Bunting choked plain and simple. Wasn't like Wright was banging in 12 darters for fun, Bunting had 15/18 darts to win several legs and could only win 1 more after being 5-1 up, choking cunt.

As for the guy who said Newton, he lost to an in form youngster who hit everything; Newton wasn't very good and is on the slide, but Benito was great.

No real outstanding candidates, nothing really awful about losing that lead and he did salvage a point out of it.

The award should be about more than losing a darts match, unless it's a spectacular meltdown or embarrassing defeat.

How about a more abstract "whoever thought giving 4 HNQ spots to players from Gibraltar was a good idea?"
