Re: Whats in store for the BDO
so is there any news if the new board will be issuing a press statement or anything ?
You would imagine some announcement would be forthcoming.

Re: Whats in store for the BDO
I'd say it's too early for an announcement or statement. They need to talk to the sponsors and TV companies then get to grips with the whole situation. Even then I doubt the first statement will be any more than a letter of intent.

Re: Whats in store for the BDO
As I mentioned in the barry gil;bey thread, I can understand a small bit how having adams deal with the sponsors is fine but surely outside professionals should be brought in.
To run a professional company you need professional people with business skills of which adams does not have.

Well from this snipet alone it's clear to see the power has gone straight to their heads. Fucking disgrace.

IDPA Comments:

http://idpa.co.uk/BDO%20Page.html
The IDPA thanks the BDO for the increase in the number of logos on players playing shirts being raised to 3 for the forthcoming Winmau World Masters in Hull.
Please note that the John Smiths Logo must be worn on the breast pocket of the players shirt.
On behalf of the IDPA we wish to extend our sincere congratulations to the newly elected Board of Directors of the BDO.
The fact that the Counties have voted our Chairman Martin Adams to become Players Director is a radical move and much appreciated by players of all abilities.
The IDPA looks forward to cementing a first class professional working relationship with the new Board and other spheres of our system to ensure that the BDO moves forward in all aspects of our sport.
The platform has now been set for co-operation between all levels of the BDO so that the decline in many areas of our sport quickly disappears and is replaced by a vibrant new system for all.

Re: Whats in store for the BDO
never really got this whole logo thing to be honest.
I am of the opinion if a player has 5 sponsors he should be allowed display the 6.
Without those sponsors chances are the player would not even have qualified for the tournaments.

Think it's a tv thing. Remember I mailed the pdpa and asked? The answer came back that it varies from shoot to shoot.Justin Credible wrote:never really got this whole logo thing to be honest.
