its never bothered me really for instance only in s/l are tons/140s and 180s accumulated but id rather switch to a better chance of a bigger score in my 2 local leagues 180s are noted for trophies but its only the once ive gotten a trophy being as 177s dont count (x4 hit i think between the 2 leagues over a season and a half) foolishly to my mind but im not too fussed to complain about it, im not really a prolific 180 scorer anyway but im improving which is the goalDartfrog wrote:I should really switch more.force666 wrote:i remember those daysDartfrog wrote:This has to involve constant shakings of the head and no shot or score is good enough.
and like our crotaline friend i tend to switch at the hint of a lye i dont fancy so i envisage the use of tops when the trip is blocked
I remember when i played for the local pub team every ton+ went in a little book and the person with the most at the end of the season would get a prize, not suprisingly no one ever switched in case they hit a 99 etc, fuck winning the actual game.

Indeed, and a well rounded game on all numbers is better than just being able to hit 20's and fuck all else.

Re: Snakey's Challenge
just had a quick go at this-110
One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'

Re: Snakey's Challenge
Was expecting a rant calling me a cheat to be honest.
Broke my toe a few weeks ago and can't lean forward to throw. If it's good enough for David Haye, it's good enough for me.

Re: Snakey's Challenge
couldnt muster more than a paltry 101 before, although deflections and crabbing to and fro across the oche never helped either but im confident i can approach 150 maybe more tomorrow is another day (statement of the bleeding obvious)

Re: Snakey's Challenge
Completely crumbled the second half of this, first half i was on 88 after 54 darts then proceeded to throw spuds, even managed to not score at all on one occasion.
Ended up with 121.

Had another couple of goes, first one 109, then got 123 with the second go. Might have another try later.

Just tried this for the first time. I scored 43, is that good?
In total I hit 4 trebles & 1 double, the rest were singles
