WOMEN IN DARTS
The WDF Athletes Commission have had a fantastic response to our appeal to gauge the effects that " women's biological issues " has on their darts performances .
Below I will show snippets of the problems faced , these replies have come from most areas of the world . ( none of these are mine)
"There have been many times in finals and high pressure games where menstrual cramps and heavy clotting on my period have affected my concentration. On my period I get pain from standing up straight through cramps , combined with the fear of having a heavy bleed affects your concentration "
"Between matches in opens that can be a very short time , you have to go to toiled armed with your pads to change pads and to insure no leaks in next game . Instead of mentally prepare yourself for next game ."
" the other symptoms I faced were extremely difficult to comprehend ,I literally felt as if I was losing my mind,I would completely forget my finishes due to brain fog "
" during menstrual cycle my aves would drop from 20+ aves down to 16 to 18 , my mind would be all over the place , once I literally walked away from the oche in tears , sounds gross but my menstrual bleeding had by passed my pads and oozing down my legs "
"I am finally enjoying my darts again but I came so close to giving up,I felt so alone but chatting with other lady players helped me understand that I wasn't alone , that unfortunately this is what we ladies players have to endure"

There are many more and I must admit some were extremely upsetting especially those women suffering from Fibroids which is what I started with, ultimately for me to cure that problem I had to give up any chance of having children of my own .
Why darts orgs and DRA pay no attention to Women's views on this puzzle me , on biological reasons alone you can see how a precision sport like Darts IS GENDER AFFECTED , forget the masses of science on skeletal and spatial differences , forget 40 years of stats just go along with the name the WDF women's world matchplay , the PDC Women's series , and the Women's world matchplay .
