How high have you jumped from?
I used to try that as a kid. Moving up one step at a time. Can't remember how high I got though. I know I jumped off a shed once, probably just less than the height of a garage. So what, one floor?

none at all.Snakehipsx2 wrote:A classic jumpers technique. Any injuries?DrZoidberg wrote:i jumped off a school roof when i was drunk once. it was about 10 feet. duck an roll!!!
and because i didn't have any injuries i now tell everyone this, as if i;ve some sort of expert on jumping and landing, especially when i'm drunk.
i'm sure i've used the phrase "if you shift the weight as soon as you land you can jump from about 30 feet an not get hurt".
if you say that kinda stuff confidently, people believe you. its one of my favourite past times actually, compulsivley lying when i'm drunk. it's really entertaining.

Lying is an artform...and like any artform to maintain a certain degree of expertise you have to practice all the time.

I was drinking in a pub in dingle one time, and being a typical tourist spot for asshole yankee tourists the bar was full of them.
2 girls approached my brother and asked why he was so sad looking, he told them he was sad because his favorite pet died, one of them asked was it a cat or a dog, my brother said neither, taking a drink to keep them curious, so when they asked again my brother looked them straight in the eye totally serious , and said it was a leprechaun.
Their faces were priceless......they kept staring at my brother for him to laugh but he kept it serious.

Yeah nah, I jumped out of a plane, twice in the same day, first time with an instructor strapped to my back, second time on my own.
Both time I had a parachute, which opened both times thankfully.
Didn't cost a thing either, my work paid for it, one of those corporate weekends , management and leadership building courses. We all got in the plane, an old DC3, but only half of us had the guts to jump out, it was surprising to see which of your mates wouldn't jump....all talk before take-off, but come the time to jump...quiet as a mouse and white as a ghost.
