Saturday 12th April 1997.
Dad's Army of course. Bob Monkhouse hosts the National Lottery. Match of the Day features Blackburn v Man United. Blackburn are getting very crap now, having won the league 2 years ago.
On BBC2 we get the US Masters golf from Augusta, presented by Steve Rider.
Channel 5 has reached its 14th day as a TV channel. How's it going?

I've never seen Creepshow. It looks like the Tales of the Crypt tv show = sort of irritatingly goofy.

Interesting. The only episode of that I've seen is a Christmas one with - hmm. I'm inclined to say a talking turkey, but I forget exactly what happened in it.

I thought I recognised 'Dirty Dick' in that from his excessive body hair
He was 'Big Ron' the market stall guy who appeared in over 300 Eastenders episodes. With almost 0 lines.
