So
I have a bunch of 60s comics, poor condition and worth little.
I'm trying to declutter, I want to just recycle them but I feel bad.
They've survived 60+ years
Am I strange to feel responsible for them?

No, not strange.
How about take them to a charity shop?
I feel badly about that as well
I put a 1950s western in the charity pile and it just looked sad.

If you keep a pile of the stuff somewhere visible, you'll start to develop contempt for it and grow glad to get rid of it.
You can take photos of them if you want to keep ownership of a trace of them.

I've put them back in the box
The 50s western seemed pleases to be saved
I'm clearly mentally ill

You're not as odd as you think you are.
I am pretty weird
Having emotional attachments to inanimate objects that you neither really need nor want in your life is normal to me.
Excellent
I feel better now
Someone has coloured in some of the cowboys inside
I love to imagine a child in the 50s sat there doing it
If only these things could talk
