Malta will be the only European Country not to have a team from its Capital in the top division as Valletta have just been relegated to the 2nd tier

Valletta being relegated would be like Arsenal going down. This was their first relegation in their history.oche balboa wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 8:19 am Malta will be the only European Country not to have a team from its Capital in the top division as Valletta have just been relegated to the 2nd tier
I support Qormi Fc as thats where my Grandad was from. They used to be in the Premier League and have largely been a Prem club but in the last few years have struggled, they're in the Amateur Division now which is the 3rd tier of Malta.
There's also a Gozo league, which has a 1st and 2nd division. Mad stuff for a tiny place

Sadly not, when I say I support them I mean I check their Facebook account for their results lol. I did actually watch Birkirkara v Qormi in the Malta Premier League when I was on holiday there once and I also brought home the home and away shirttungsten tossers wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 10:37 pmHave they ever played in any of the Euro comps ?TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 9:32 pmValletta being relegated would be like Arsenal going down. There’s maybe 6 stadiums on the island and they all share them, the biggest being the national stadium Ta Qali which has a capacity of about 17k
