Standard has been getting better actually in China. Zong and Liu would be a formidable World Cup team. Better than what we are likely to field, anyway.

I take it this is the Chinese qualifier for something? The standard is not pathetic over there, but Zong is so far ahead, he really needs regular gametime on the Asian Tour which will be a much tougher test for him

I expect it is an Ally Pally qualifier yeah but I don't know. Either way as Thorn says it's a competition in its own right with prize money.
