Re: snooker thread sponsored by Ross, Bob
I gather that it was not supposed to look like this at this point in time. There's almost no-one there.

They can buy Messi and O'Sullivan but they'll never have Bunting.

I'm watching the Ding match now. I think the female ref's normal uniform was considered a bit much for the Saudi audience. Tatiana Woollaston is wearing something that resembles a shopping bag.

That was the afternoon session. It was only announced 2 days ago, originally it was going to start at night and Ding and Higgins weren't in it.
The night session did have a few more people there.

Ending to Selby v Allen is comical.

Re: snooker thread sponsored by Ross, Bob
Last frame, tense safety battle. Allen gets a crazy fluke to get in, but needs a full clearance. Needs to double the pink to finish with a black over the pocket, double goes wrong but pink land right in front of the black so cant be potted.
Another safety battle, ends with Selby trying to knock the pink in off the black itself, and pink finishes milimeters from dropping. Allen cleans up. I dont like Selby but fuck me he was unlucky.
