@ 32:16 : I don't know, lol. 'I think I did coil'... I guess she means that she felt coiled up, like a coiled up spring, and angrily snapped at them, swearing etc. I don't know though.
Being from Scotland ive been forced to get good at accents, but that bit there I was really struggling with.
It is a tough one. I hear 'I think I did coil' which I take it to mean that she got coiled up, as in wound up. She got wound up with stress and went crazy at those pesky WDC people.

By the way, is that documentary popular in the "darts familiy" ? I personaly found it very useful to understand the roots of the PDC and "modern era darts"

Emulsfier wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 5:54 pm @21:20 He is talking about Lada, the car manufacturer who sponsored the events he won. As the company is originally from the soviet union, the cars had a bad rep which Gregory is saying is not true.
The really sad thing is an older colleague of mind worked in used car sales back in the day. He said to the educated driver a Lada was quite desirable. Usually required less work done when part ex'd and never struggled to sell. He has one now he's working on in his spare time. Needs a lot of work on the interior as something got in and turned it into its home but the engine turns over nicely. 30+years old and has sat unused for the last twenty. drained it, replaced all the shit that degrades, spark plugs, oil etc and she ticked over second attempt and not struggled since.

Oh and because of the bollocks rep they never got nicked either!

Olly was not the originator of the BDO. This was afforded to a couple of blokes from the Valleys of Wales. The BDO landed in his lap and the rest as they say is history.

Olly Croft in the 1970s was like the Vince McMahon of darts, crushing the different territories and different organizations. In his mind, this gave him "ownership" of darts. He could get away with this, with only some opposition, when business was booming. It was rather different when business started slumping from the mid 1980s to mid 1990s, as opposition to Croft's BDO increased and intensified.
