They could at least have made a new show to carry the agenda but I guess the huge fanbase of kids already belonging to Doctor Who proved irresistible. Cunts.

It's got an audience totally removed from its true target market nowRogg wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 1:32 pmThey could at least have made a new show to carry the agenda but I guess the huge fanbase of kids already belonging to Doctor Who proved irresistible. Cunts.

Seems there's some bother in Doctor Poo land over the line where the trans woman belittles the Doctor for being 'male presenting'. It's anti-trans men, apparently. Who in their right mind can keep up with this?

Doctor Who: The Star Beast had an overnight audience figure of 5.08 million viewers in the UK.
Doctor Who was the second most-watched television programme on Saturday night behind Strictly Come Dancing which had 7.67 million watching. ITV had 4.83 million watching the reality programme I'm a Celebrity Get Me out of Here.

The overnight figure for Jodie's first episode in 2018 was 8.2 million. I assumed that Tennant's return would be up in that range given his immense popularity but it's nowhere near.
The 7-day figure will be more interesting, and next week's ratings too. I imagine there was a lot of eye-rolling at the trans/pronoun stuff and the Doctor getting ripped apart.

The hype around the 1st female would have drawn people in
The hype around the alphabet people would put a lot of real fans off.
The only ones left watching are the bed wetters

I expected Tennant excitement to be the equal of Jodie curiosity. I'll keep an eye on these figures. If Tennant and Tate doesn't restore the audience then nothing will.
The Jodie figures were shocking by the end. For all the loons celebrating the woman thing... they weren't even watching it. What a surprise. Try putting fans before activists.

Do you want to see the scene where the trans woman corrects the Doctor for assuming a pronoun?
Well here it is anyway.

Russell will 100% have designed a 'problematic' aspect to Santa against which he can heroically crusade if needed.
